Th Beach

Ashley and I went to the beach on Sat and she and her friend Kacie has a great time playing in the sand and the water.

Ashley thought the beach was the greatest place I imagin she enjoyed all the freedom she had.

Conversations with Ashley

Ashley's vocabulary really has expanded and she is talking so much here are some of the conversations I had with her.

A: "oh no"

Me: "What Happened"

A: "Me may mess"

Me: " Help me clean this up"

A: "NO"



Me: Where's Pop Pop?

A: "Pop Pop home"

Me: Where's Daddy?

A: Gone wis Rocky ( our dog)


You have to just love what they say and how is comes out sometimes. She is becoming such a big girl.

MISSING MY MOM

Today's blog is about my mom. She lost her battle with ALS on May 5, 2009. Words just can't describe how much i absolutely miss her. Everyone says as time goes on things will get better but my heart still aches for her. I miss her daily phone call at 8:30 am, I miss the simple conversations that we had that consisted of, hi, how are you, how is Ashley, love you and miss you. I miss her telling me not go to run errands after work because it will be dark soon. I miss seeing the excitement in her eyes when Ashley and I would go to Va for visits. I simply just miss my mom.

SUMMER FUN

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE DRESSING ASHLEY UP AND DOING HER HAIR AND IN THE PHOTOS ABOVE WE HAVE REACHED OUR FIRST PONYTAIL. SHE GETS EXCITED WHEN YOU MAKE A BIG FUSS OVER HER. ALSO HERE IS A PHOTO OF HER ENJOY HER POOL IT WAS BY FAR THE BEST TEN DOLLARS I EVER SPENT.

FAMILY

We often forget about our extended families. This was the first time in probably close to 11 years that I was able to spend time with my extended family. I have missed them all dearly and I think we all should remember to try and spend more time together. Even thou many years have gone by it was like we all just saw each other yesterday and picked back up.
